Why download and install an application to do something that just simply holding down the OPTION key while clicking will do? Not to mention that you're also disabling the possibly useful feature of iTMS linking - should you ever need it. So, yeah, option-click those arrows and it'll go to the song in your library instead of the iTMS.

You can find the Unix style fix here among other places: http://www.mrxsss.com/blog/archives/2004/04/30/itunes-45-quick-links-fix cheers

I personally think that it's overkill to write an application for something you can do by copy/pasting a line of text in the Terminal and hit "enter" - I'm no Unix guru but I can copy/paste... Nevertheless, if anything, this app will help (some) people realize that it's possible to reverse this behavior implementation that was obviously motivated by greed as opposed to functionality...

Hey Smart Guy! It reverses the behavior, something you can do through the terminal, but it's nice that this person made it for less terminal-savvy people. Option-clicking thus takes them to the music store from now on. Holding down option is a pain if you do the Library behavior more often than the Store behavior.

> "Why download and install an application to do something that just simply holding down the OPTION key while clicking will do?" Because there are still parts of the world where iTMS is available for *browsing" only. So for some of us there is no need to go to iTMS that often, and if there is, so only to hear previews. And also: some of us Mac users don't want/need to mess around with Terminal or edit .plist files manually.
