This is a very innovative and useful piece of software. I especially like the "Browser Search" feature despite of its not being able to show some cosmetic graphics: iLynX web server won't render ilynx.jpg and author.jpg. Another disappointment is its ugly icon. An egg yolk trapped in a marble box? I understand the concept which the icon tries to represent, however, IMHO what is required here is more simplicity.

Some nitpicky complaints/feature requests... When you view other people's bookmarks you're given the option to search them or simply browse a flat list. You can't see the heirarchy of their bookmarks. It's just such a great little app I can't help but want to nurture it along...

This is a really nice little app for sharing bookmarks on a local network of macs or on the web. The interface is clean and well executed. Every option is explained in just enough detail. The rendezvous sharing alone makes this program worth it's cost, and the built in websharing is just icing on the cake.

Did they realize there was already a browser called Lynx when they created this?

It's not as if there's a shortage of words to use. It's okay for Apple to call their mail app "Mail", despite two Unix mail programs called "mail" and "Mail" existing already, because they deal with mail. But To call something "iLynX" when "lynx" exists, and neither has anything to do with big cats -- that's just silly.
