GL Golf overview

GL Golf is a 3D sports game for the casual gamer. With a realistic physics system and great simple graphics, you and up to four players can golf all 702 holes for countless hours. Everything in a real game of golf is included, such as water hazards, sand traps, trees, bushes, wind, four seasons, different time of days to play, and a driving range. Other great features include both an Internet and individual high score list, game saving, great music, iTunes controls, 3 difficulty modes, mulligans, the ability to choose your set of clubs, match/stroke play, online tournaments, and much more.

This app keeps getting better and the 2D graphics is not bad and it does give me a chuckle when the player is standing in grass up to his hips on a fairway. However i am not a programmer and really have no comprehension of what is all involved in preparing the graphics for what is no doubt a complex application to programme.

It would also be nice if the trees wouldn't disappear from time to time. As far as the ball is concerned they are still there.

I like this game. Fun to play. HOWEVER... on occasion, when I get a hole in one and press 'R' for a replay, I do not get the hole in one. I miss the hole and am set up for a birdie. Everything else is cool, but don't take away my score. That defeats the purpose of it being a game if it's not fun. There are also inconsistencies with wind strength at times.
