Decided to try this program on a whim - as I'm really into blues guitar music. Wow - was I pleasantly surprised - it's incredibly fun to 'jam' with the drums and guitar. Very simple, and satisfies my jonesing to play along with the band, if nothing else, as a distraction to the everyday work I do. Very cool concept, and hope to see it developed even more! Great job!

Thanks, this is always good for a couple of minutes of fun when I need a break. The bass is way too low when played through my AlBook's speakers. There's not much you can do about wimpy speakers, but it would be nice to have some simple way to adjust the balance. Also, the buttons for the guitar riffs are of the hold-down-to-repeat type (they have the "Continuous" check box turned on in IB). I don't know if this is on purpose, but it means if my mouse lingers too long on one of them I get an ugly static-y sound.

It IS fun to jam along, but gets extremely boring after about 10 minutes per loop, adding up to about half an hour before deletion. I hope the author includes a little more variety or customizability (change keys and such) in the next release. I imagine this might be a lot of fun if you've never played with a real band or for new musicians learning blues scales.

It's a fun program, but the author really should give credit where credit is due. Those guitar licks all belong to the late, great Stevie Ray Vaughn. The "Rock the Blues" selection is "Crossfire" from SRV's "In Step" album. I recognize the other two as SRV's as well, but haven't taken the time to place their names.

I thought the guitar licks sounded familiar -- but you're right, D! It IS SRV - and I think one of the tunes is "Pride and Joy". I agree, credit should be given to the artist for usage of his samples.
