Overview

NoteBookMaker is an virtual laboratory notebook that provides authoring and witness routines for laboratory data. The system is fully compliant with FDA 21 CFR Part 11 for electronic signatures and protection of intellectual property. NoteBookMaker can easily handle all your data through simple copy-paste or more modern importing via XML. It supports still images, excel spread sheets, audio and even motion pictures. NoteBookMaker can run as a stand alone single user or in a multi-user FileMaker Pro 7 solution. The demo version is full functioning. Non demo versions begin at $200. Undergraduate scientist get it for free.

I like the ease of use and the fact that it looks like paper. No complicated steps to take to post your data for author and witness. It is an identical on PC and Mac. I have used it on a network and it is really easy to manage. Thanks for the free version for undergraduates.

I really like the ease of use. Nothing complicated, just straight forward notebook generation. The virtual Notebook coupled with the virtual Librarian make this most intuitive for large laboratories. This is how a FileMaker Pro Solution should work.
