Downloaded the application. Unstuffed and launched. Window "Reminder" opened and stated that Galleria will not fully generate your galleries until you pay. Clicked "Later". Window closed. Main window "Galleria" opened. Drag-and-dropped a folder of 8 jpegs into the source images folder area of the window. Worked. Created new folder for Destination folder via the Browse button. Template options are disabled in this crippled demo. Checked the box "Add Captions" Checked preferences and set thumbnail and image size. Clicked Start in the main window. Sub-window dropped down from title bar showing "Unread" in white with a text box below it. I guessed that it was waiting for a caption. Typed Caption1 and clicked Next. Previews of all subsequent images appeared (the first one did not) and I entered captions one-at-a-time. Progress bar moved along realistically. Alert window popped up "An exception of class NilObjectException was not handled. The application must shut down." (It meant quit.) Clicked ok. Output folder contained 8 pictures, 8 thumbnails. Two of the thumbnails were small jpegs showing "Created with an unregistered version of GALLERIA http://www.arcticsw.com" Because templates are disabled in this crippled demo, no html files were generated. Drug the program to the trash, wrote this review.
