Developer website: Doug Everly

Orator is a small application used to convert typed text into a sound file. The application is very simple and uses only one window. Type, paste, or drag text to the window, pick a voice and save the text to a file. Orator can also read text aloud.

What you can do with Orator's Files:

  • Create custom system beeps!
  • Save articles off the Web and transfer to your iPod!
  • Use iTunes to convert the AIFF files to mp3's. Share and stream with your friends!
