What is Zephyr for Mac

Zephyr is a simple and elegant way to view and switch between your running applications. Zephyr always shows the icon of the currently running application in the menu bar near the clock. And clicking on that icon provides a customizable menu of all your running applications.

What's new in Zephyr

Version 2.4:
  • Now a Universal binary for both Intel and PPC Macs
  • Now Free! (Users who purchased Zephyr in the past can receive a discount on any other Radical Breeze application equal to the original price of Zephyr.)

Apple-tab clickers: you know, once you've apple-clicked, you can then use the mouse rather than tabbing repeatedly. Also, a highlighted app can be quit by pressing q, or hidden by pressing h. And if you are looking for something comparable to control all open windows, not just apps, try the free utility Witch.

... or press apple+tab [repeatedly] to achieve the same thing without having to run extra apps. why do programmers waste their time building apps to do stuff that's already in the OS?

Personally I find find clicking apple-tab to be a very effective way to switch between active applications. and best of all it's part of the os-- therefore one less program to have running.

Ive seen other things that do similar things, but this one is pretty nice. Been running it for the afternoon and no problems at all.

I like it! The star icon reminds me of the process switcher on the Newton OS. The only thing I don't like is how it's separated into two parts.

Why not just use ASM?
