I am running 10.1.5 and when I tried to open this app for the first time it said "Application has unexpectedly quit" - Any guesses as to why?

Great simple dock switcher! This app does exactly what i need - give me two options for doc configuration. Since I use Quicksilver for an application launcher, I just run K2Dock and get my other dock config. It is also interesting to note that Dashboard and Exposé prefs go with the dock - so you have the opportunity to have two customizations for those as well - or just make them both the same.

It may help non European Users to know that French People generally are very reticent to use English, preferring instead for the whole world to change to French. Its part of the National Psyche, charming & parocial in one way but a trifle arrxxant in another.

French people aren't reticent to use english, they need just a little time to traduct their freewares to a no native language ...

After un-bz2ing and untaring, I double-clicked the app icon and I got a NEW dock with Apple's standard dock items AND my normal "selected" dock items. Since the program appeared to "do its thing" and quit (with "dock #2" still running), I double-clicked the app icon a SECOND TIME ("switch between 2 docks") and I had MY DOCK back again. Time to figure it out: maybe 10 seconds.

There is another Free utility called DockDockDock. It offers a menu-extra to access multiple Dock set. But people here give it quite low rating because it's Japanese, they said the developer is too lazy to translate. In that case, how should I rate this FRENCH application since I don't understand French ? The Readme gives no clue about how to use it. I can not understand why this applcation gets such high score while DockDockDock gets such negative feedback either.

It would be really nice if the documentation told you how the program worked! I ran the app and it brought up a new doc with the regular OS X doc.... the only problem is I don't know how to access the 2nd doc with all my other doc apps. I am sure it is a simple step to access the second dock, but please tell me how the hell to do it!

from the Readme: "Installation: You can place it anywhere on you hard drive, but i think you should place it on the two docks to access it easily." this means that you should drag the app to your dock and then launch it.

I read the read me and telling me to put it in the dock does not tell me how to switch between docks. I had it in the dock. I figured out that you have to launch the program each time you want to switch docks. It would be very easy to add that in the read me. "Launch the app when you want to switch docs".... that is all it would take.

Seems to work fine except that it also changes my desktop background at the same time, and that the icon does not match the simplicity and elegance of my regular apps - no-one else puts lettering in their icons, so don't. I'm looking for something that will extend my dock over two monitors

Using v. 0.2 i get Sep 27 08:16:19 USER02 /System/Library/CoreServices/SystemUIServer.app/Contents/MacOS/SystemUIServer: kCGErrorFailure : CGSGetWindowGeometry: Invalid window But k2Dock switches fine otherwise. I'll try v 0.3 and see how it goes.
