Gamma Control is an application that gives you the possibility to adjust the gamma correction curve of the screen. Use the application to calibrate the screen for new ambient conditions without having to use the ColorSync Calibration Assistant. You can save your multiple settings in documents and retrieve them when needed. The settings you change are not saved into the current ColorSync profile and are restored when you quit Gamma Control.
- Fixing an issue with some video adapter misreporting its serial number. (Gamma Control uses the serial number to identify screens when possible
- Reseting gamma curve more proactively on quit, instead of counting on macOS to do it for us. This does not change the behavior of the app but resolves a somewhat nebulous issue with video capture and/or playback with certain applications on particular hardware configurations
- OS X 10.7 or later
