Send network text messages via Rendezvous.

Overview

Shout is a collection of two programs, the Server and Client. The Server uses Rendezvous to send out text based messages to all the clients that are connected. The Client sports a clean interface. Right now, Rich Text with Attatchments can be transported across the network from Clients to Servers.

Things to be added in the future will be logging of messages, seeing which Computers are connected, and other FUN FILLED THINGS (the amount of fun a thing posses will be measured by the developer, which will be used as a standard)!

I won't give this a bad rating, because I honestly haven't used it... most because we already have iChat that does the same exact thing already installed on our machines.

It does not do the exact same thing as iChat. For iChat, you need an iChat account or an AIM account. Shout has an independant network with server and client programs that you do not need to sign up for, but do need to know how to connect to the server.
