Overview

Link Checker is a valuable tool for you to check the links on your Web site. Link Checker is very powerful. Link Checker can check all your Web sites if they are online or stored locally on your hard drive. Link Checker is also smart. If your Web site has a sub directory it will decide if the link belongs to the subdirectory or the main site. As an added bonus Link Checker also displays all links that are redirected just in case a Web site is moved. Link Check your Web site today!

Multiple Web Sites

Unlike comparable products, Link Checker allows you to remember settings for an unlimited number of Web sites. The Web sites list shows you the URL of the scan page and the last report date with basic details.

Find All Your Links with Regular Expressions

Link Checker has a plugin system that allows you to tell Link Checker to look within certain formatting to find all your links. This plugin system is based on regular expression searching. For example, if you had some custom javascript code that loaded some rollover buttons then you could create a plugin to check the links from within your javascript code.

Fix Broken Links for Local Sites

When Link Checker checks local sites and finds broken links you can fix those broken links right in Link Checker! Link Checker will highlight the broken link for you and allow you to fix it with ease.

Link Checker shows you this because sometimes Web sites move, and the old sites are linked via redirects. This is a feature unique to Link Checker.

Didn't work the last time I tried it, doesn't work now - or it is taking taking so long time as to render it worthless. That is, you can't tell what it is doing, you only watch the endless spinning barberpole at the bottom of the window.

Waste of time. Serial number given doesn't work. They are still hosting the software, why don't they just put out a new version that doesn't require a serial? Makes no sense. Plus the program is messed up anyway. It likes to beach ball for minutes at a time. And another neat feature is that it likes to cause hundreds of system beeps while it's running. It also went from an acceptable speed to a server-killing speed once it revived from its beach ball episode. Not worth the hassle, do not use this program.

Very disappointing. I ran the software in Try It mode and waited over 30 minutes for it to check links. The final report said that the bad link was hidden until I register. What a waste of time! The software is no longer available for sale (per the note on this site) but the posted serial number doesn't work. Don't waste your time with this one.

I bought this software and it works okay - not fantastic but when I bought a new computer and tried to move it over, the registration code no longer worked. I emailed the makers of the software and was ignored. You have to pay $20 to get a new registration code each time you install. I'm looking into buying something else. VERY DIAPPOINTED!

What rubbish! I checked a site locally where I know at least 26 links are broken (I havent made the pages yet) and it came up with only the last broken link on the page! What use is that?

I find that Link Checker works pretty good. It is quite fast when the connection count is at 25 and the report format is (now) acceptable. I have a several thousand link site and it helped me find some broken links easily.
