It works perfectly.
I get UNsubscribe emails and I dump them all in a temporary Apple Mail mailbox and use Email Extractor.

I company I support has a home-grown contact database of actual customers and actual vendors with whom they do business. The users of the database ended up putting email addresses into about 20 different fields trying to warp the system to their needs. When it came time to send out a mass e-mailing to customers and vendors we dumped to a text file and then extracted the emails addresses using this tool. It removes mal-formed addresses and duplicates, which is something spammers don't really care about.
I count it a very valuable addition to my toolkit.
