Excellent App as advisory help when buying (or upgrading) any older Mac. Invaluable when comparing models.
must have for every Pro in Apple land.

I expect better performance. There's ways to use databases intelligently where you don't load up the entire database all at once while launching the app.
If every app ran this way, it would take 5-10 minutes to load up iTunes with the massive size of my library.
It's just constructive criticism of (as I already said) an otherwise great app.

The release notes for 6.0.1 says "Adds the ability to create a new "My Models" entry from an info window". How exactly do you do that? I've poked around and don't see a way. What I'm assuming this means is if I find the model I want under the Categories list directly on the left, there would be way once I select it add it to My Models without having to to first do File/New My Model and then search AGAIN for the model I already searched for in the Categories list.
Appreciate if someone has figured this out and could pass it on.

Solution: fast close the info window on launch, quit and start again.
N.B.: no problem with former versions (actually there xas some glitch but no crash)

I could restore it to normal after deleting all related user Library files.

The crash happens under ‘My Models' when adding the Contact from the Address Panel. I have confirmed the crash on both a 1st generation Macbook as well as an Early 2009 Mac Mini, both of which run 10.6.2. However, it works just fine on a Dual 2.7GHz G5, so perhaps this is an Intel-only issue?
I absolutely adore Mactracker and have used it for years, which is why I am bringing this to everyone's attention. I'm sure the developer will squash this in no time.
I was just wondering if anyone else can reproduce this crash.
