xAudic

xAudic (previously MacOSXAmp) is an MP3 player that has support for WinAmp skins. The Source Code is also available for free download.

To use a downloaded WinAmp skin with xAudic, place the skin file in one of the following directories:

~/Library/xAudic/Skins
/System/Library/xAudic/Skins
/Network/Library/xAudic/Skins
/Local/Library/xAudic/Skins

What's New

Version 0.21 adds the following:

Now works on MacOS 10.1
Supports filenames in other languages (Thanks to Shinichiro Shoji for the fixes)
Adding a directory to the playlist really works now

Requirements
PPC, MacOS X 10.0 or later.

One of the first mini players for OSX and in my opinion still the best. Link seems to be down though.

Kissmac link seems to be working, forgot to add you can get some awesome skins for this if you don't like the default theme.

It appears all the sources of this are either broken or totally incompatible with Panther.

Nice app, but so far I do nt think it can handle my collection. My Test for an mp3 player is if it does not crash when I drop my 22Gb mp3 folder on the playlist.

When I can do that, you got a chance of being my every-day mp3 player.

Winamp Skin support is realy nice.
