Franz

It works really well for consolidating all the apps that I use into 1; which is convenient. My only complaint, and a big complaint, with Franz is that it uses a lot of RAM and energy compared to if I just had all of the individual apps open. For example when I just have chrome tabs open for my email accounts, slack, and discord open then significantly less RAM is being utilized compared to when I have all of those things in Franz which isn't a dealbreaker since systems have enough RAM for that. The deal breaker for me is the energy utilization. I tend to work away from an outlet a bit and when Franz is open on my M1 MacBook Pro my battery life becomes 2 hours instead of 14-16 hours. It just DRAINS the battery compared to having chrome tabs open and the other apps open that I use it for. TLDR; if you have this app on a computer that will always be plugged into a wall it's great but if you need to run off a laptop battery you may want to think twice before purchasing that subscription.

love this application, however 2 concerns with glitches in google voice and slack. google voice doesn't push notifications anymore and always has to be reloaded to update, and slack constantly disconnects and has to be forced reconnected. hope these things get resolved in next update

I don't do subscription software. I would pay a lot for Franz, but I won't keep paying for it forever. I saw an alternative to this not too long ago, but I dismissed it because I already had Franz. Now that Franz gone subscription, I'd love someone to post what the alternative was!

NOT free, you have to pay in order to make it work !! Liars !!!

Love this app. It's my go-to to use Whatsapp on the desktop.

I am loving this app. I have tried a lot of them and when you consider the functionality plus the fact it's free this one is a winner. Well done.

If they ever add iCloud Mail to this then it's a 10/10

While Franz works and works quite well, I had a weird experience with it. I was mass messaged while using the Telegram component with an account I had just created and only given to a handful of people. I could see other peoples handles and message them. I don't have the skills to go through the Franz source code but better to be safe than sorry.
