Oy.
I'm using the latest Yosemite beta, and my first impression was "Holy hell -- Fisher-Price has gotten into the OS business!"
These candy-colored icons make me want to puke.
These icons are not very pleasant or easily visually distinguishable. The icons on the folders vanish for those with poor eyesight. Apple needs to keep the Icons describing the folder contents much clearer.
Bland, monochrome, boring icons! The worst thing is that the symbols added to the folder icons, which are meant to help the user distinguish between each folder's content and function, are so faint, you can't tell the folders apart, especially at small or medium size when present in the finder window sidebar. They are not handsome and they are pointless.
