App Bar displays a quick list of all your applications. This is the quickest way possible to find and open any application launched from your Status Bar or Dock. All apps are listed alphabetical and the scroll list is well laid out and always just a click away.

Making big statements like "fastest way ever to..." shows the developer does not have a clue because spotlighting the application name, using a third party app like Quicksilver or LaunchBar and a myriad of other keyboard or gesture driven methods whips the pants off having to navigate to a menu and scroll a list of names.

If someone wants to pay for functionality that has been standard in Mac OS for a considerable number of years, good on them. Application folder in the dock does the same thing, it also allows you to drill down in folders which this app does not.

Hardly "the fastest way known to mankind to find and open apps." Dock menu freezes my system until I invoke the force-close menu. Menubar menu works alright. i don't see the advantage to this vs. simply adding the Applications folder to the dock.

This seems essentially the same as adding /Applications as a folder to the Dock and using Stacks. That functionality has been perfected since snow leopard. Leopard didn't allow scrolling, so items were cut off. At least that's the impression I get from the description and screenshot.
