D.O.A. under Lion. Unresponsive. Must force-quit.

2.2 didn't display the menu item under Lion, but at least it worked. This one does not work at all.

Would prefer window size to be retained between sessions instead of reverting to default size when launched.

Unfortunately 2.0 is not equipped to sort or filter by platform. A smart filter has to be created to do this.

Well, I upgraded my half-star initial ratings to 4 stars. The developer was quick to send me a link to download the 32-bit Intel version that seems to work flawlessly on my Core Duo MBP.

The Store News layout is simple and does what it should: list the apps deals and free offers for with direct links to the Mac App Store.

Give it some time and some improvements/additions and this will fast become a 'must have' to save money.

Thank you Christian !

Cool idea and it's pretty likely I'll be using this to spend money on things I don't need in the future. The rating is significantly lower than it would be otherwise because of the absurd behavior that clicking on an app's title or the "Buy" button opens that app's page in the App Store app AND in a new Safari window. The former alone would be sufficient; the latter is ridiculous on its own and asinine in combination with the App Store link. Fix that behavior, rating goes up.

A version compatible with 32-bit Macs would be nice.

It's an interesting idea for an app that will no doubt develop over time (and I dare say web services are going to get on this act too).

The 'Buy' button might be more accurately labelled 'View Details' as all it does is take you to the Apple web page describing the app. This is probably because the app tries to mimic the App Store HID itself, rather than the functionality of what the software does. Not necessarily a bad thing, just an observation.

If this develops into something that captures stats, pricing history, has a badge on the dock icon, sends Growl alerts, has a 'watch list', etc., it could become pretty handy.

Will watch with interest.
