Here are a few blemishes I have found with it however:
1) Seems to have a problem with downloading about 15-25% of the time. In such cases will download short (1.7 mb or less), mulitple sections of video files. Sometimes starting a download over, by reloading the youtube page will work, but on some videos nothing seems to fix this. Will say this has only occurred using in conjunction with Camino, but see issue (2) below regarding using with Firefox.
2) The developer's website says that in Demo mode that it will record entire youtube videos, but only 50% of on demand video and audio. This is true when I use Camino (2.09 or 2.12), but when using Firefox (11.0) I only get 50% of Youtube video. That said, there seems to be more stability, i.e. not downloading of short schippets of the viedo file, with FF.
3) The delete feature is kinda funky too. When deleting, one is given a choice of the entry or the entry and the file. I found that choosing the latter will get rid of the .flv file and any converted mp3 file, but not the converted .mov file. I would think that choosing this feature would get rid of the .flv and .mov file, but not the additional .mp3 file that has to be chosen in the first place to be created. Bottom line, definitely move any files you want to say before removing anything with the interface.
Besides these issues, a purdee spiffy product.

On the positive side, Jaksta is the best I know of for converting GrooveShark audio (a typical 3-4 minute song takes only 8-10 seconds to finish, including sending it to iTunes). The clarity is perfect. This alone i well worth the price to me. I can line up 20 songs & finish all of them in less than 5 (FIVE) minutes!
On YouTube, as mentioned elsewhere in these reviews, there are free apps, but the ones I know of take a long time to convert audio (minutes, not seconds), but see below.
On the negative side, Jaksta seems to do quite poorly with YouTube audio, often resulting in that tinny "trashcan" sound. I don't know if this is due to source, file type, or original sound quality. On other YouTube audio, it does OK. Overall, there are too many failures (bad recordings) from YouTube to make Jaksta worthwhile there, so I don't even bother with it there.
Jaksta makes itself inoperable on a lot of occasions. It's fussy about whether it's turned on before or during the opening of the source website. I often have to quit Jaksta & quit the website, then re-start both, to get Jaksta to work.
On some occasions, Jaksta names the audio "stream1", "stream2", etc. This is a big pain to later go back & correlate (& re-name) audios with their correct titles/info.
For my purposes, & with my other audio software, Jaksta has a real use & is the best at what it does. For other things, it doesn't work well at all & I don't use it for those things anymore. If you can get it at a MacUpdate sale price, it's well worth the money for its limited but worthwhile uses.

Jaksta does reasonable well for me, although, as mentioned by others, it often downloads twice and mixes up names. What I really hate about the app is connecting to Applian on every start to check the activation code. That should only be necessary once.
Googleish behaviour, I would call this.
When the dev(s) fix the bugs and change the activation method, I might reconsider my rating.
In the meantime I am looking for a good replacement.

Will not download from moshcam.com and so this is useless to me since there are so many FREE options that will download the stuff that Jaksta can. Try Video DownloadHelper or NetVideoHunter or just Google Safari Download Streaming Video to see the other free quick and easy ways. It's criminal to charge money for this software when it can't do more than the free ones.

Make sure your connection is fast enough, if it at all has to fight for bandwidth that gets reflected in the result.
