I write a lot of texts in Scrivener, but sometimes inspiration strikes me all of a sudden, and firing up Scrivener is a bit too much.

FP is clearly designed to provide a “writing environment,” a stripped down approach to text that even makes comparatively simple applications like TextEdit seem elaborate. But hidden features can be found in the pull-down menus: you’ll find spelling, grammar, and verbalizations of the text. If you’re looking for a full-featured word processor, you may want to look elsewhere. FP is designed clear things of distractions.
It’s fast, easy to use, and - best of all - free, and well worthy of a download.
