BTW... the iTunes app either should not be running or perhaps I simply had to restart it to have the effect take place. You might want to indicate this in the "Read Me."
The iTunes 10 look was not what was bothering me... it's just that with the v9 design of iTunes I could more easily grab the window in the top middle and move it (i.e. away from all of the buttons, etc.). Whereas with v10 it was so narrow vertically in the middle I had to move it by grabbing in areas around the buttons, etc.

Restart iTunes and problem solved.
