What's New

New: Also added skout.com, pinterest.com, webshots.com, popphoto.com, soccerlens.com
My favorite Safari extension. Saves a lot of time and hassle. My only beefs are that sometimes large images are slower to load in HoverZoom than if you click to open them in a new tab (this happens a lot on IMDb, for example), and that once in a while it stops working on a given site (usually fixed by a refresh).
Excellent communication with the dev who cares about our suggestions! Just for that it deserves a 5 star rating! ;-)
And it's a really useful extension, also to copy/paste images that a site prohibits by some Flash trick... ;-D
Thanks!
Recently I'd been noticing HoverZoom was deactivating for no apparent reason. Turns out using a window's scrollbar is one cause, until HZ is reactivated by interaction within the window again (e.g. a click/tap in it). I was able to reproduce it with all other extensions disabled. This issue might have started with Safari 5.1.4.
Thanks for the response. The inactive HoverZoom behavior is only the most obvious symptom I've noticed of a more general issue with how Safari now seems to be mishandling focus after certain actions. Just want to make it clear I'd blame a change in Safari (5.1.4) for this, not HoverZoom. :)
