What's New
Version 1.1.1:
Fixed a few crashes
Added an Italian translation (thanks translators!)
Thank you for the valiant effort and for the hard work. Not everyone will like this game but the old schoolers will love it.
2 major problems while running this under 10.6.4
- If you try too zoom the game window with the small green button in the top left corner of the window then the game zooms to something close to full screen but it's just pure garbage
Here is the example picture of what it looks like after you used the green zoom button

- The game could really use a full screen or windowed mode option. Currently there are no settings or preferences
- A very minor cosmetic problem. Right below the menu where it says About Frogatto it says "Hide Neorice"

Thanks for the reports! That first one was known but forgotten about. We do hope to have more settings (and documentation) in future versions. The "Neorice" thing was not known (it's because that was the temporary name of it a looong time ago) - that will definitely be fixed in the next version.
Technically it is already possible to start the game in fullscreen, but only if you know how to start apps from the command line (if you do, use the --fullscreen option). The problem is just that changing the resolution in the middle of the game never works.
I will try that Terminal command to open it in full screen and just avoid switching back and forth for now.
I'm a little confused about the switch resolutions comment though. I didn't try that. I only attempted to use the green zoom button from the games window. I kept my display resolution at 1024 by 768 the whole time.
But thank you very much for the quick response and the great full screen tip.
I was completely side tracked and completely forgot to post a comment on your website so I am glad you did check in here and find my comment.
Keep up the great work and thank you again for a great game.

Frogatto over 30 levels set in 4 different environments, and has an editor to make levels of your own.
Frogatto was made by a group of big-time fans of classic videogames, who are hoping to bring back the magic in a new, original game design with unconventional gameplay mechanics - a fun break from the usual clones. Frogatto is also available for iPhone/iPod Touch on the App Store.
