It doesn't say much for Mobile Me as a hosting service either, since I now get a bandwidth over-limit notice every time I try to access the site or the app. Talk about operating on a shoestring budget! Whoever this developer is he's off to a lame start.

I'm a little confused. You go to the "developer's website," and it says "Neoshop." While there, I read:

"ButtonBuilder 4.1 is an application that you can use to create glossy buttons for your website simply and easily.

The download site has been shut down, but I was lucky enough to get a copy of it."

So my question is: who OWNS Button Builder? On the UPromo page, it says Real Mac, which leads nowhere when I click on the link.

It's a nice, little program. Very basic.

Realmac were the developer some years ago (I was a registered user at that point). However they retired the app a long time ago I'd assumed Neothingy had bought the rights from RealMac as it patently is the same app. Maybe they didn't ask for the permissions they should have. Their web site looks a fairly amateur job so I don't place a lot of faith in them as a developer for a tool for web designers frankly...

RealMacSoft was the original developers of the application.
I took the app because the download link was broken and hosted it on my website.
Here, you can download the app and browse different button sets that I've created.
I did not develop the application, but I am hosting it for those who would like to use the basic application.

Have fun with it.
