WeatherSnoop talks to your Davis Vantage Pro/Vantage Vue, Oregon Scientific WMR100/WMR200/WMR968, LaCrosse WS-2315, Ambient Weather WS-1080/WS-2080, iROX Pro-X/Honeywell TE923, RainWise MKIIICC-LR, Peet Bros. ULTIMETER 100/800/2000/2100, WeatherHawk weather station, or Weather Underground to obtain current weather data and transfers it directly your Mac. You can upload your data to Weather Underground or the Citizen Weather Observer Program and share with the world.

Version 2.1.2:

Modified LCD gauges to use Core Animation Text.
Addressed an issue where temperatures below zero weren't being displayed in the gauge LCD.
Addressed an issue where certain longitude and latitude values were not correctly applying the hemisphere, resulting in inaccurate positioning in Google Maps.

Gets better, like all the new features, works out of the box and no silly kext files to mess with.

Not sure if it will down load the existing historical records from my Irox weather station, which is a must for me, as the computer is available 24hrs.

Found my extra sensors no problem.

Graphs nice and easy to understand.

Will have to consider ditching my own homebrew software!!!

Pros:
Works out of the box.(Irox Pro)
Nice features (weather report)

Cons:
Metric mode, the reports and data custodian show imperial not metric despite the display panels showing metric.

No way to retrieve and history, so if there is a power failure / system down, the 3000 odd records in the weather station are lost.

Personally, don't like the display's would prefer a choice

All of these concerns have since been addressed in subsequent versions of the software.

This is great software for "weather nuts" with Oregon Scientific weather stations. You can't beat the price & the support! I've been using it with my Oregon Scientific WMR100N for a couple of months now, sending data to WeatherUnderground. I would like an easy way to get the data from the MySQLite db it creates into a spreadsheet, but for now I copy & paste from WeatherUnderground.

I noticed a problem with it sending data to WeatherUnderground when the air &/or dew point temperatures fall below 32ºF. I e-mailed the developer & he quickly responded & has fixed the problem.
