Choosy... Forget the default browser, Choosy opens links in the right browser. When you click on a link Choosy will do the right thing, whether that's something simple (like using whatever browser is already running) or something complex (like prompting you to pick a browser, but only when you hold down the shift key and click on a link to google.com).
What's New
Version 1.0.3:
Smarter prompt placement when clicking on a link near the edges of the screen.
Hovering over an expanded short URL in the prompt will show the full URL.
Built in support for more URL shortening services including ow.ly, youtu.be, amzn.to and gu.com.
Fixed a memory leak which would cause Choosy to use slightly more memory each time a short URL was expanded.
Stopped the background of the circular prompt going black when moving the mouse over the URL.
Stop the browser name background disappearing in the circular prompt when "display URL" is turned off.
Fixed occasional blurring of icons and text in the browser prompt.
The Choosy browser extensions have recently been updated. There are now extensions for Firefox 3, Safari 5 and Google Chrome. You can get them all from the Choosy browsers page.

I use both Safari and Chrome throughout my day, and choosy doesn't just let me select which browser to use, but it intelligently decides. It's also much faster than its free alternative, "MultiBrowser". Easy purchase.
For a low cost and basic Choosy, you could also enable Develop menu in Safari (Preferences/Advanced) and make use of the "Open Page With" option, which makes list of all the relevant applications for such an action, contained in your Application folder.
Very nice. I juggle browser windows between my 'primary' for most things, Chrome, my primary for certain web apps (like SpiceWorks). Firefox, and certain other sites with Safari.
Not only does Choosy allow me to specify manually which links go to which browser, but I can set up rules so certain links always go to the browser I've specified for that site/application.
I can even send a page from one browser to another browser!
I'm impressed, and missing it now that the shareware time limit has expired. Heading off to purchase now. :)

It would be nice to see on the Menu-bar an Icon of the actuall current default browser (instead of the Choosy icon).
