Not working in Mavericks and two screens. Crashes v2.4.1.1, and 2.5.

Apologies: v2.5 and 2.4.1 do not work, but 2.4.1.1 does.

FYI: Crashes upon launch on 10.9. Developer posted in the forums a fix in the works.

This program works great. However, you must get the updated version: 2.4.1.1

The link above is an older version with bugs. Go to their website and download the latest.

It's very stable after the update, and it delivers the good, as promised. The quality of the video outcome depends directly from the original's quality, and it does a fairly nice job converting, if you decide so. The conversion choices are also good, but I would suggest the inclusion of aspect ratio settings, besides the raw pixel value. Other than those minutiae, I'm quite pleased with this app.

Youtube videos download fine but anything else is a nightmare.
Constantly giving errors on trying to download from Google video.
Still waiting for CosmoPod to update to Lion then I can delete this crap.

@ Xesc: How does it come that this version (2.4.1 Intel) is using 4 cores @ 100% all the time?
When I look with ActivityMonitor the app takes 400% CPU from my Intel Core i7. And that's when it's doing nothing! After a few minutes my fans are blowing like hell.
Best regards, Leppe.

Oh yeah, I've also noticed that I can't Quit the app once and a while.
Happens mostly when the CPU load is already a couple minutes very high.
Best regards.

Well, it is better to download video with Safari
Window -> Activity: Then you pick HD, best quality.
As to converting to another format, yes it does it,
but... with horrible quality. I'll stick with Safari.

TROUBLE
Sometimes, the downloaded files are missing. Strange. It downloads and shows "Completed" but the file is gone. A very disturbing user experience.

NOTES
After the application starts, the main window's default focus is in the "Downloads Directory:" text-field. If you press accidentally a key that path is changed.

I figured this out: if a server-dependent download-error occurs it stops downloading and shows the (wrong) message "Completed". It never completed but for some reason it couldn't proceed with the download and for some reason this situation is not properly handled by the app.
