With this tool lacks is the ability to sort by date, percentage completed, a calendar, alarms, resources, percent completed, and much more. These are all fundamental parts of a serious project management tool.
The same thing with this tool does can also be done in a spreadsheet, with the bonus of adding much more information, including cost analysis.
While it has a nice interface, abet a little clumsy to use, its functionality is quite limited.
It does seem to work as described, and while I would not recommend against its use, I see little value or functionality in it over tools that most Mac users already have.
Of course we will add more features in future releases and will continue to make the application easier to use, but our users need to be aware that Project is not made to be a project management application for the power user.

- There don't seem to be shortcuts even for the most common tasks. You can't even press Cmd-F to get to the searchfield or Cmd-N to create a new task or project.
- I didn't find a way to delete projects or tasks.
- You can't reorder project or tasks.
- Some other minor issues
The problem is not that this application doesn't offer many features, but that the features are not well implemented and the app is incomplete. It looks like someone played around with CoreData and never really used this application. Anything I else I tried in the last two years in the field of project management / to-do management / GTD etc. not only offers more features, but also better usability-and I think that's devastating for an application that aims to be “clean an simple”.
Clicking on "Project" > "Hotkeys & Shortcuts..." will show you a list of different hotkeys and shortcuts you can use in the application.

The only issues so far is that the default height of the window on my MacBook is taller than the screen height. I suspected that having my dock auto hide may have allowed it to open too large but changing the dock to the default behavior didn't fix it. (And the AppleScript trick to resize it down isn't working . . . perhaps it isn't accessible by AppleScript? I haven't looked yet.) It is useable in the maximized view, but this isn't optimal all the time. Hopefully this will be fixed soon.
I look forward to seeing future releases!
(You currently have to manually update from version 1.0 to version 1.0.1 but we will add automatic updates soon!)
