What's New
Version 2.0.10:
NEW- Internet section: delete Safari recent researches.
NEW - Tweak section/Stack: now you can add your recent applications within a Stack on the Dock.
Works fine for me. And one of the few tools around that can clear the ever potentially dangerous Flash cookies, the danger of which is not so well known amongst the average person.
Needing to use your Admin password is standard for most utilities which make any kind of change to your system files.
The dev's blog site seems to have been removed. Hope the dev is still working on this utility. Whilst I don't use all its functions with 100% trust, I do regularly use it.
FORMICA is a jerkoff. This person has not even attempted to try something & gives it a thumbs down. What an idiot. Probably a racist nazi also.
I got this app looking on Apple's site, but since I currently use this version, I thought I'd write a review. I got it and was curious on how well it was. I tired it, and it worked great, no problems and it did as it said it would. I recommend yasu over iTool if you're a bit suspicious, but otherwise it's a nice tool and works fine for me.
"Code optimization" is not a sufficient explanation about "What's New" in this version of iTool, considering that it WIPED LHOFM1's hard drive (see comments below). A fuller explanation and some indication that the developer has located and corrected the problem is required before I would even consider downloading and installing it on my system (even if it is free), and I surmise that many others feel the same.
And couldn't the developer come up with a better name than iTool? Maybe iWang, or iShwantz, or even iWanker! Do you call this app's output iLoad?
I have been using iTool for some time now. Yesterday (June 21, 2009) I ran it and it said there was an update. I downloaded and installed the update. Then when I ran iTool it proceeded to wipe out my hard drive. The computer was no longer bootable nor was there any data or programs remaining on it.
(I have a 15" MacBook Pro with an Intel Core 2 Duo, 2.93 GHZ, with a 250 GB Solid State Drive)
