BurnAgain FS... Usually you cannot burn to a DVD more than once or to a CD more than once without creating a volume for each session. With BurnAgain FS you can do both. You can even remove individual files from your disk or open and change documents several times. The format used is platform independent and usable without additional software on all common operating systems.
BurnAgain FS supports CDR, CDRW, DVD+RW and DVD-RW, without erasing, until the disk is full.
You can also change the title of your disk prior to each burn.
BurnAgain FS can be tried for free for 20
What's New
Version 1.6:
Simplified and more intuitive workflow
Several bugfixes and general improvements
Requirements
Intel
Mac OS X 10.5 or later
Apple supported CD/DVD writer (internal or Firewire), or MacBook Air Superdrive
When you install BurnAgain FS, you must also install the MacFUSE file system and its preference pane (for more info: http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/23729/macfuse). However, in the BurnAgain FS Help file it says "It is possible to uninstall the MacFUSE preferences pane without affecting BurnAgain FS. Please locate /Library/PreferencePanes/MacFUSE.prefpane and simply remove this file."
So, if BurnAgain does not need MacFUSE to work, then why is it installed? The Help file says nothing more than what is listed above. However, there is this statement in a different section of the Help file titled "Disk Filesystem Standard":
"BurnAgain FS burns a ISO9660 rock ridge standard filesystem. If you do not use BurnAgain FS from the start, only discs using that standard that are not closed can be appended by BurnAgain FS. Each session added requires a session overhead in addition to the content added.
"BurnAgain FS preserves all resource forks and mac specific file attributes by creating standard AppleDouble files. If you do not want AppleDouble files to be created, this can be disabled in the application preferences."
Does anyone have a clue why MacFUSE is installed with BurnAgain FS but removing it won't affect its operation?

The MacFUSE preference pane is just a part of the MacFUSE installation. (MacFUSE is actually a framework)
Although you can uninstall the preference pane (which is mainly used to be able to update MacFUSE independently), you of course cannot uninstall the MacFUSE framework because BurnAgain FS requires it for its Desktop integration.
I've been using this application for a couple of years now and can't be without it. It works flawlessly just as described by the developer. I'm a real back-up freak so I like to save files to cd or dvd-rw as soon as I receive or create them just like I used to do with Zip disks in the old days. Well worth the small price.
I have no idea where all these complaints are coming from. BurnAgain works like a charm, I use it multiple times daily. It's a gem and works without even a tiny glitch. I'd be lost without it.

Hi. I tried your app in 10.5.2. After I installed it the system was a little bit sluggish. I rebooted and then I was stuck at the blue screen for about 5 to 10minutes. It finally went to the desktop after that. I uninstalled your app and then deleted the macfuse folders and files it created. After that I rebooted again and the system was faster and didnt stuck at the blue screen anymore.
Have you received any reports like this.
Im using a late 2006 macbook 2.0Ghz 2GB ram. 10.5.2.
Currently there are no known issues with BurnAgain FS.
MacFUSE is not loaded unless you use it.
I wonder how it could affect startup at all. Maybe it was a coincidence with something else.
Verbose mode or Activity Monitor usually can give a quick answer on who is so busy on your system.
Anyway, since I do not check all forums all the time may I ask you to contact freeridecoding support directly if you need further help.
Tried 1.0.1 and 1.0.2.
I've been using Burn Again DVD for a long time. then i reinstalled my mac (changed HD). I saw that Burn Again DVD was no more available. So I blindly bough Burn Again FS as I thought it would be as simple, stable and flawless as Burn Again dVD.
In dozens of temptatives, I successfully updated my DVD-RW once... I get an "Unexpected error coce -1407" each time. When i just want to delete files, it tries to burn and then failed without begining to burn.
Burn again FS in it current state is just useless...
Tried on up to date Leopard Macbook 2.0GHz.
(tried to post my feed back on versiontracker but never appeared...)
if you do not contact support, nothing can ever be fixed for you. but since nobody else has reported an issue so far i assume it will be a problem specific to your setup. you are welcome to send us the details so we can help you identify the problem.
btw. i am using it myself daily without a single issue.
sorry, but we did not receive anything from you.
from what you describe it sounds like a damaged installation (wrong combination of macfuse with burnagain fs). but with this limited info i can only guess. please write again to support.
btw. burnagain dvd is of course available for customers upon request.
