I love this little puzzle game. I've got literally hundreds of puzzle games and I find myself playing this one quite often. It has always run flawlessly for me.
It's very simple to play, yet it can be quite challenging in an enjoyable way, (if you don't mind a little thinking).
It's an original concept in the puzzle genre, which is suffering from "match-three" overdose.

To the developer Holmes Futrell: Thanks for supporting the Mac community with this excellent free game. I hope you have some time in the future to make another set of puzzles for this great game.
Fantastic! No problems running this on my old Quicksilver G4. Clever and sometimes frustrating puzzles that make you feel like you really accomplished something when you get the answer and see it in all its 3D glory.
One request: More puzzles! I've played for about an hour each day for the last three days and I only have two puzzles left to beat. More, more I say! How about even larger grids? 6x6?
I guess the number of puzzles is a feature, so you only get 4 stars for that. Everything else is 5 star work.
What a fantastic way to learn & teach visualization in 3-D! I just downloaded this with my 4-year-old son on my lap. He watched me solve five puzzles then pushed me out of the way and started using POV to build structures of his own. That's high testament to the appeal of this program, and the ease of use of the interface.
Version 1.0.1 seems to have solved the lock-up that 1.0 inflicted on my Mac Pro and I'm pleased that it has because genuinely new puzzle games are always welcome here!
Spoke with the developer. He was very responsive, tweaked the game, and now it runs perfectly on my iMac. Fun and interesting game, nice music, nice looking!
Tried POV on my 24 in iMac 2.16 GHz Intel Dual Core 2 with max RAM and running Leopard 10.5.1. It launched and began playing music. First the mouse cursor was stuck - no mouse, no keyboard. After a few minutes, the mouse unstuck, as did the keyboard. Screen began to slowly refresh, but I was unable to force quit or do anything else. I was never able to see the game screen or do anything other than hard reboot. Wow. First time I've had to do that since I bought this Mac 14 months ago.
Hope the developer reads the reviews and decides to do some more testing, tweaking, etc.
Unlike the first three reviews, I've had no problems running this game just as it is when it first starts up. I'm on an Intel Core Duo 2GHz iMac with 512 MB RAM, Radeon X1600 and running OS 10.4.11.
As to the game itself, I was initially going to complain that it was unsolvable. However, after looking at the screenshot provided here, I caught on to how it was possible to solve these puzzles.
I find the game addictive, maddening, and highly rewarding once you find the right configuration. It's a great game for anyone considering studying engineering or drafting, because it gives you a good idea of 3-D spatial analysis.
The only reason I don't give this a five rating is due to its being a first incarnation and everything can be improved upon.
Great little game! Nice concept, well executed. Quite addictive :) (I just finished the Easy set). Developer - good work!
BTW: works fine in my machine (MacBook Pro, 2.2GHz Inter Core 2 Duo, 2GB RAM, GeForce 8600M GT, Mac OS X 10.4.11), but only as long as "Multi-sampling" is turned OFF ("Shadows" can be set to anything) - otherwise images (mostly buttons) are corrupted. Processor usage never goes higher than 20%.

It appears to suffer from some graphical glitches in OS X 10.7 Lion. Most of the buttons and info text are garbled.

Better than a 3D Sudoku.
My deepest appreciation to the author for making this little gem.

Good job Holmes! And thanks for making it free!
