DropImageURL is an application that creates snapshots of URLs. In other words it creates an image of the URL's page that includes the portion which may not be visible in your web browser due to its dimensions being too large.
A new option is available for also downloading all images on the URL being imaged, saving them in the output folder.

Version 1.1.3:
Browser support update: The app requires the ability to obtain the current web browser's front window's URL so it can be imported automatically. Recent changes to Google Chrome broke the ability to do that, and it is now fixed. (Supported web browsers currently are: Safari, Firefox, OmniWeb, Camino, Opera, Flock and Google Chrome.

Okay, so I just updated DropImageURL so that it can output into various graphic file formats: TIFF, BMP, JPEG, PNG, PICT, Photoshop, QuickTime, MacPaint and JPEG2000.
I also added a preferences window for configuring various other options:
1) You can specify a scale factor as a percentage.
2) You can specify an output directory
3) You can opt to have the comment set to the URL being imaged
4) You can have the program automatically open the generated file, or select it in the Finder.
I also added some items to the Dock menu for
1) accessing preferences
2) imaging the frontmost window of your web browser.
I have numerous other features on the queue, but I am open to suggestions!
