Cha-Chinger is an Automator script to backup your Cha-Ching database file and launch Cha-Ching. This is to be used instead of launching the application directly, so that you will always have a functional backup of your data, should anything bad happen.
What's New
Version 1.1:
Updated to work with new Cha-Ching database file
Made paths relative, so no editing of the script is needed in order to use
Requirements
PPC / Intel, Mac OS X 10.4 or later, Cha-Ching.
Well I've just given this a go.
On launch it gives it's status in the menu bar, first "Find Finder Items" appears followed by "Copy Finder Items". Next to that is a red spot. After a few seconds it stops. There's a dialog box that flashes on the screen but is gone so fast you cant see what it says.
On checking the "Cha-Ching Backups" folder which you have to make in your Documents folder I find there's nothing there. On top of that it doesn't launch Cha-Ching like it should.
Thank you for your interest! I'm sorry to hear this isn't working for you. What version of Cha-Ching are you using? There was a database change in 1.04 that this script is designed to work with. So if you are using a previous version, that is probably the reason for the issue.
Please let me know if I can be of further assistance, and feel free to email support@hungryturtle.com with more information if you need to.

Initial release, so maybe it's buggy.
