SketchFighter is one of my favorite games. It appears like a simple action game on the surface, but there is a strong element of discovery and problem solving. It's whimsical, and I like whimsey, so that's another plus. And it is stable. Actually, rock-solid: it has never crashed on me, not even once, despite many, many hours of gameplay.
Yes, we do support full screen in the current version. If you select to use one of the higher resolutions, you will be able to have the product be full screen and not have any of the black bands on the top or sides of the screen.
Ambrosia…. simply stretching 4:3-formatted graphics to fill a 16:9 screen isn't the same as re-rendering the graphics to give an actual widescreen presentation. All you are doing is distorting the graphics and adding nothing extra to see. It looks ridiculous.
We agree, which is why it should render the game in widescreen at the higher resolution if it's natively supported. No stretching & no bars. If you are seeing otherwise, please contact us via our support form. Thanks :)
If they still have the OMG award, this should win for the year. This is certainly the most original game I've played in a while, at least graphically. It is intuitive, and is not difficult to control at all. There was no need to read anything for it, but there is a tutorial, and it is enjoyable in itself.
Good job, you guys! I do not have the $19 registration fee, but it is definitely worth it.
PS. this is marked as alpha, but I had not a single problem on my machine.
