Scorched 3D is a game based loosely (or actually quite heavily now) on the classic DOS game Scorched Earth, "The Mother Of All Games". Scorched 3D adds amongst other new features a 3D island environment and LAN and internet play. Scorched 3D is totally free and is available for most operating systems.

Brand new mod (AWE for a different and faster paced gameplay experience).

How can it require Intel, but support 10.3 when Panther was PPC only?

I give up! Tried on PPC and Intel and it just won't startup. Forum has instructions on how to install but I'm not going to start playing around with Framework folder and files.

It's a pity, I was looking forward to playing this.

According to the Scorched 3D website, it requires OpenAL. I'm not too keen on installing it, since I've heard nothing about it (and the latest version is pretty old).
