That's pointless. I can just use Finder to copy a folder to do that. A "syncing program" should keep the folder up-to-date automatically.
Maybe I've missed a feature...the lack of Help in the app might account for that...
If you use "Replaces" mode, then it's effectively the same as copy the entire folder, except that it's very long if you have many files. Sync2F will only copy the new files.
With a name like 'synctwofolders' I expected a program that would keep two folders in sync without further user input, just the way that my DropBox folder does. However, I'm looking for something that can keep folders auto sync-ed across physical drives without connecting to the net.
Any suggestions?
A solution could be to use the Batch auto every 1 minute of SyncTwoFolders, but it will take many CPU and disk access.

Do a simulation and check in the list only what you want to do.
When an error occur, do a Alt-clic on the two path in the log (source and target) in order to show the files in the Finder, and copy the file manually and see what happens.

Too bad :(
Edit: I found the answer, effectively Mac OS X 10.4 or later. Sorry I can't do anything then.

Maybe this has to do with the folder I am copying it to being FAT instead of the Mac filesystem which I am copying it from?

If anyone needs this setting it is in the additional settings located at the bottom left hand corner of the main window (icon is a tick).

For your problem, maybe you downloaded SyncTwoFolders while I was uploading the newest version. Please try to download it again.

I didn't received any other remarques like yours, I don't know what's your problem is. The last version of SyncTwoFolders (v.1.3.5) works weel with my 2 Mac INTEL. I didn't test the PPC version on my old eMac G4 and PowerBook G3. I will do it tomorrow.

Looks like a good program, but after I set it up and it begins to Syncronize for the second time, Finder Windows begin popping up all over the screen the entire time it is running. Even when the program is in the background or hidden the screen is constantly flashing Finder Windows. It appears that the program is opening and closing every Finder Window it is looking in to Syncronize.
Would love to see this fixed.
