I am also receiving the error "Sorry. Could not create listen connection to Snippet Monkey daemon. Please reinstall." Reinstalling does no good. Running on latest version of Lion so it may just need to be updated for version of OSX.

I can not get Snippet Money to work with Lion. Error message says "Could not create listen connection to daemon. Please reinstall"

If you would, please send an email to feedback - at - gideonsoftworks.com with info on your setup. Things like :

- Other software running
- Architecture
- OS version
etc...

We test every release against textmate and textedit. I'd like to get to the bottom of this and figure out whats going wrong.

didn't work in any of the applications i tried (firefox, textedit, textmate). the snippet gets selected but nothing changes. since the text is selected, if you hit space to continue to the next word, the selected text is replaced with the space character.

this could be a good, simple substitute for the pricier alternatives (though rapidowrite is free and pretty -- but doesn't work in non-cocoa apps), but not right now.

The new monkey works well. No more mysterious crashes or hangs... now does what it promises.

Very nice alternative to Typinator or TextExpander for less money. It's ability to embed snippets within snippets is really nice, and stability has not been an issue for me.
