Don't download this crappy piece of malware!
I tried running the player, my Safari became immensely slow.
Even after "uninstalling" (according to the people behind this garbage, it's enough to delete the App!), Safari remains unbelievably slow, and I am wondering if reinstalling Mac OS is the only way to get rid of whatever's left over from the program....

Veoh Web Player now works with Snow Leopard, but not with the newest Flash Player beta.

Crap. First off, it refuses to install because I need QuickTime 7, even though I have 7.4 installed. So I go through a guide to get it installed manually and finally get it to startup. Then I use it to try and download a 1.5 hour long video and it stops halfway through and sits there saying, "Accessing Video" for half an hour. I cancel the download and try again and it downloads 100% in 2 seconds. I opened the video's containing folder to see if it really worked and the video's only 30 KB. I finally thought "screw it" and uninstalled.

Very cool.

So far it seems to be the cleanest way for me to download videos with out worrying about a virus.

The support forums seemed up to date.

Full screen viewing is nice and some of the videos have great picture quality. Others look better in small screen.

Easy to organize the library.

Web site could be a bit faster, but all in all this is a great way to store videos, share videos and find new things to watch.

Well, it would be great if:

- It doesn't freeze when you close the "Setting" window using its close button;
- You could browse and preview the videos in the client itself, without using the Internet browser to go to Veoh's site.

Thanks for checking out Veoh.

I will file a bug on the freeze (which I don't see on my macBook) to see if we can't figure out what is going on.

Browsing the catalog from the client is already in advanced development and will probably appear in the Windows version just a bit before the Mac version. This is a really important feature that a lot of people want.

Send us email any time you like. We try to answer all of them.

When I try to install Veoh, I get an error message, saying that Quicktime 7 or later is required, and the program closes.

I have Quicktime 7.4 installed.

What's going on?

(I'll email the developer.)
