I am an experienced web developer for many large electronics companies. I happen to know that ASCII encoding will do nothing for e-mail detection. In fact, some spam bots are now looking specifically for ASCII encoding, so this, if anything makes you MORE likely to get spammed

Not to say anything negative about this application itself, but ASCII-encoding your email address will stop no spam whatsoever. The bots can read them just fine.
