Fractographer is a program to plot the fractals of mathematical functions. It can take any arbitrary formula you input, so long as it follows a few guidelines. You can then save the current fractal to an image of any size you want, or you can just save the current formula for later use. You can also use as many colors as you want, and set what bounds they will use, as well as different interpolation levels. More specific information is found in the included readme.

A few minutes after uploading the current version, I noticed that I ended up having a massive memory leak. It wasn't noticeable for the small fractals (such as the default formula), hence why I didn't catch it at first. However, fortunately I did find out about it within a few minutes and have fixed it. If you downloaded between around 1/2 hour before the update and 10 minutes afterwards and you are experiencing massive system slowdowns with large fractals, re-download to fix the issue. If you aren't sure, might as well re-download anyway. (since it's not that big in the first place :-P)

Shouldn't the version number be changed?

I personally think it's a little superfluous to change the version number. It was literally only 1/2 to 3/4 hour or so that the mistake was out, and maybe 10 people between here and versiontracker would have downloaded it. (by the time my updates were approved and it was put back on the top, I was practically done with the fix) I figured it wouldn't be worth the trouble to submit another version update form immediately after this one. I guess if people *really* want me to update the version number, I can.

I decided that it would be best to submit another version to make sure there is no confusion, even though it was only out for such a short amount of time. If you downloaded it after I posted my first comment, don't bother downloading 1.0.2: the only difference is the 2 rather than a 1 on the end.

Nice interface, but the algorithm for performing the calculations is unacceptably slow.
