How do I go about downloading this FRONT ROW ENABLER 1.5 for my Mac laptop 10.4X?
Anyone out there who can help me?? Does anyone have a copy available to me?

Wow, I'm not sure who's more gutsy: you, for packaging and redistributing Apple software, or MU, for letting you post it here.

Shame, the G4 is the one I really need it on.
STEP 1. Download JacksonBrown's patched Front Row STW. rapidshare.de/files/6669514/Front_Row__k_.zip.html.His brilliant patching work makes Front Row run under 10.4.2 without having the iMac's remote present. There are three files inside this .ZIP - Readme.txt you may now ignore, as it is out of date. ?- Front Row.app copy to the Applications folder - BezelServices.framework copy to /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/ At this point you will need to reboot your computer.
STEP 2. Open Script Editor.app (located in Applications/AppleScript) and paste in the following code.
tell application "System Events"
tell application "Front Row" to activate
key code 53 using {command down}
end tell
Once you have done this, save it as an application named openfrontrow.app in your applications folder.
STEP 3. Now go to macupdate and download the program named Xkeys. It is freeware. Once you have the file downloaded, install it and then open it up. Inside the program, configure your F8 key to run your openfrontrow.app file you created in STEP2.
STEP 4. Now go into System Preferences. In the Accounts preference tab set up front row.app (the one you downloaded, NOT to be confused with openfrontrow.app that you created in STEP2) to be a login item.
STEP 5. Reboot your computer. When it turns back on, press the F8 key and hopefully you will be experiencing Front Row! Pressing F8 again (or a lot of other keys on the keyboard) will close Front Row.

This worked fine (Front Row and the enabler) with 10.4.5 and before, but not after.
The "preserve/intstall" at least sort of got things working in a somewhat painless way...I had a couple of hours getting things perfect after the reinstall, however.
Much luck!

/System/Library/LoginPlugins/BezelServices.loginPlugin/ . This plug-in is read during startup just before the login dialog is shown, al least if you require pwd authentication. (To see where the system fails, press command-v at startup, after the chime, to unhide the console.)
Solution if your computer can start in firewire target mode. and you have access to a working mac running the same os.
1. Start the corrupted mac in firewire target mode (hold down the t key when turning the power on).
2. Connect the corrupt mac to the working mac using firewire. (Start the working mac if not started.)
3. Wait for the corrupt mac's disk to be mounted as a removable firewire disk on the working mac.
4. Start Terminal.app on the working mac.
5. In a terminal window, isse the command:
cp -r /System/Library/LoginPlugins/BezelServices.loginPlugin/ /Volumes/[corrupt_mac_name]/System/Library/LoginPlugins/BezelServices.loginPlugin/
This will replace the defunct plug-in with a working one. At least it did for me.

Your Mac will startup and you will see the blue screen but your desktop will NOT load.
You will end up having to reinstall Mac OS 10.4 via the Archive & Install feature on your Mac OS 10.4 Installation disk.
I had to go through this TWICE due to Enabler screwing up my system
If Front Row stops working after upgrading to 10.4.8, just wait until Mac OS 10.5 (Leopard) ships, which will include the next version of Front Row for both PowerPC and Intel systems.
It explains what you need to do to install on 10.4.8

How i'm going to get my volume keys back I don't know, but at least my computer works.
And the way to make FrontRow Enabler work with 10.4.8 is explained here:

Good luck,

WTF.. I want my Front Row back.. Please help Sir Escobar..
If you have already screwed up your Mac via using Enabler on Mac 10.8 you don't have to reinstall mac os, as thought earlier. IF there is another mac available, put the bugged mac in target disk mode, and copy core services from /Volume/System/ to the bugged computer, this will allow you to get back into your system. Please note that you time and network settings will be gone, but this is a whole lot easier than archive and install. Hope this helps.
There is only one problem and that is the bottom half of the FR screen is back to front. Does anyone have any ideas or is it just too adventurous getting it running on the G3.
I have tried to install the 10.4.6 update, but still no luck.
