Developer link in Dutch and seems to have no mention of Say Cheese
I still have a copy I run, but it's broken for most strips due to age and probably copyright issues (see FreeComics and Funny Pages listings for comments on this).
Last update was November 2008? It's dead, Jim.
Oh well, Free Comics still works on the large majority of its comics for me since I downloaded it before it was embargoed by the copyright police. Funny Pages works but I've only tried the demo and because it is pay-for shareware, I predict it'll get obliterated by the copyright people posthaste.

great widget btw, i love the minimize option!! :D
Now :
- Graphics are OK
- Calvin & Hobbes are OK
But Sinfest appears to be broken. When Sinfest is selected on either of my Macs it locks up the entire dashboard for a long time.
Also, I can see on my network monitor that there's a connection from the dashboard to www.sinfest.net that keeps spinning.
Finally, I notice that when Sinfest is selected it jumps to an odd date where there's obviously no comic, like November 30th, 1899.
After a while the network connection stops spinning, the dashboard unlocks and a new comic can be selected, but nothing from Sinfest ever actually loads.
I've noticed similar behaviour if you try to go far back into the Penny Arcade archives for example.
Is this happening to anyone else, or just me?
Thanks!

If I have done something wrong or done something that I shouldn't have please let me know. "Calvin & Hobbes" is one of my favorites comics.
Thanks for this widget.
I look forward to updates.

We provide quality control on the comics so that they load as fast as possible and with less errors.
We'll include more comics (on request) in the next releases.
The reasen for this is that most of the webcomics does't have a "normal" archive it has been changed during time and you can't relay on 1 link. (site.com/ddmmyyyy.jpeg next week HDIDEyymmdd.png (numbers are total not-regular))
It takes a lot of core-programming to let al the comics work.
Is there an easy way to fix this? If not, will a new Say Cheese update be coming anytime soon?
Thanks.
I upgrade to leopard and now Say Cheese widget still works but the graphic is a bit funny.
It seems to me that there are some mistakes in html code 'cause the yellow graphic is always misplaced.
Thanks for helping me
A later version doesn't display Calvin & Hobbes at all, I just get 'Error'. Its GetInfo widow says 'Created: Saturday, 24 November 2007'.
Am running Mac OS 10.5.1.
- Close the widget
- Delete: Library/Preferences/widget-killerwidgets.widget.say cheese.plist
- Open the widget.
Don't look at Shaw Island, it is broken, the developer has stopped making Shaw Island.
Look at the post below.
