Cryptic Allusion and Ganksoft are proud to announce the first preview release of Marbol, exclusively for the Apple Macintosh!
Marbol is a fast-action puzzle game of skill, where you must place marbles according to color and destroy as many as possible before you are disrupted by random marbles being pushed from the bottom. Match blocks of 3+ of the same color, or blocks of 4+ clear marbles, and they disappear from the board. Remove too many supporting marbles, and your pile will fall to equilibrium again.
This version is a release and no longer in beta. There is no beta
Requirements
PPC, Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later, OpenGL.

It's alright for a few minutes, but doesn't add anything original to Columns aside from the clever graphics.
The thing that's most annoying about this type of color- or shape-matching game is that there's really no skill involved. No way to beat the machine, as it were. Clearing the board should be a) rewarded, and b) easier to achieve. And it's flat in other ways too: the only reward for clever or lucky play is more space.
So ultimately, it's a victim of its own simplicity.
[Version 1.0]

I love it and its free - thanks!
The only rhing I would suggest is a little less frenetic music - perhaps be able to play something rom itunes?
