eBay Dashboard Widget is an international eBay search bar with a pull-out tray of the last 12 things other users have searched for with the widget. It also stores the last 10 searches you made in its history.
There is a minimize button in the top right corner which will minimize the window to the smaller version to save Dashboard space.
It collects information from the "My eBay" page. Anything you are bidding on or watching in "My eBay" will now show up in the widget automatically. Prices in green indicate that you are winning, while prices in red indicate you are

This Widget is great in my opinion. Don't know why people are complaining because the last few versions have been a vast improvement. No longer have any issues with signing into eBay.
One request I have is for the scroll wheel that's just been added to work with Wacom's Intuous 3 tablets 'Touch Strip'.
Installed the widget...and un-installed it three minutes later. It keeps sending you through at least 4 adservers each time you want to sign-in. Plus it actually never managed to get me logged into my regional eBay site. Maybe it works for .com users in the US but for me - nope.
It would have been a very good idea though so a real shame that the product in its present state is rubbish un less it was the programmers sole intention to create something that pay him through pay-per-click

this widget seems to send your browser through many ad servers, before sending you to ebay, having been referred by yet another web page. At the very least, this seems dodgy. If I were more suspicous, I'd say it was harvesting information
it's gone from my widget list now, and I would strongly advise you to use with caution. Who knows where your ebay info is going?

Seems to crash whenever I have more than 1 item on my watch list. No problem with multiple bidding on and selling items though

This just seems like something that was made to be the first "eBay" widget, and is really meant to be an advertisement for the developer's website. That's fine, but why not make a widget that does something *useful*, like monitor ebay watch lists? I don't need a widget for something I'll do in a web browser anyway.

I don't really care about what other users searched for with this widget. It seems like sharing this information just slows it down. Perhaps you can make this a preference?
Also, if I type in "filson duffle" on eBay.com it brings up results. This widget searches for "filson+duffle" brings up no results.
Good start, I hope to see my suggestions/bugs above dealt with accordingly.

To delete anything from the widget, simply delete it from the "My eBay" page.
We have partnered with AuctionMonitor.net so that the widget can now use the eBay API. Using the API means more reliable information will be sent to the eBay widget. You will, however, need to sign up with a FREE account at AuctionMonitor.net to use the widget.
