ImageConverter is a simple utility which allows you to quickly convert images between several major types, including jpeg, gif, png, tif, bmp, and pict. Simply select the destination file type and drag the images you wish to convert onto the window. A new copy of the image is made in the same directory with the new file format. The old image is left untouched.
ImageConverter also allows you to convert several images at once. Simply drag multiple images onto the logo, and they will all be converted.

Some minor gotchas in the documentation (description), poor interface, but works. 2MB is not a problem, but embedded TIFFs could be better pngs or gifs.
