I have tried many of the other dvd organizer appz out there and this one seems to be the best. I would like to know why there are so many out there that do not have a play button to actually watch the movies??!! Fantastic app but the ability to play random movies would make it exceptional!

The search feature is dimmed and does not work. The developer bills the search similar to iTunes search but this falls way short. I would like to be able to print the dvd list with the cover art without cutting off parts of the image. I'll looking to the update for help of these concerns.

This new release is sluggish; can't delete a new library. It appears the developer is trying too hard to add new things rather than speed the app or work on fixing bugs. I wish I had not upgraded. Uuugh!

We sorry for the new bugs, and we have a point release waiting in the wings. It will address all known bugs as well as improving the performance and responsiveness of the program.

We do appreciate the feedback and we hope you enjoy DVD Juggler in the future.

i just gave it a test run vs dvdattache that i use routinely and vs dvd manager which i used before dvdattache. dvd manager is the fastest but contains almost zero info om movies. dvdjuggler has a nice interface, but quite a few bugs (cannot delete movie lists, cannot delete movies from lists, only from library, etc.). most importantly, the juggler imports much less info about movies than attache. so even though attache is slow to open and does not have a clean GUI like juggler, i am sticking with it...

The next point release, 1.1.2, will fix the bug you discuess. The next version release, 1.2, will support importing more information from other sources.

Please let us know if there is anything else keeping you from using DVD Juggler.

I find the comment about being "posed to being the premier DVD catalog..." interesting. He now has around 20 competitors out there to beat out.

Amazon support for other countries is planned for the next release 1.2. IMDB support is planned for a future release beyond that.

It's an excellent program to keep track of DVDs - in fact, a nicer lay out than the other ones I've been trying. Best of all, it's free!!!

I've had no problems with stability. I did, however, have some issues with adding in movies with the UPC code - about 20% of the UPCs couldn't be found, but that's probably an issue with Amazon, rather than the program so no worries! (The UPC feature is fantastic!)

Just a couple of minor notes for feedback:

- when lending out DVD, an error comes up saying "invalid number" and won't keep the lend out information.

- it would be nice if there were perhaps a filter so you could see which ones are currently in your collection and which ones are lended out (just for organizational sanity...)

- a search function would be appreciated too!

Oh, to add... The title actor (a.k.a. first on the list in the info box) won't let you add the character's name. It results in the box effectively freezing. Just a minor thing, but perhaps good to know nevertheless.

The idea behind this is very useful. It's nice that everything is organized nicely. However, the app too often freezes and I have to force quit. Fortunately, the information that I just added isn't tossed upon a relaunch. I really like this otherwise and hope the developer stays with it.
