HumaneText.service is a simple background service for Mac OS X that allows you to write in a humane text format and replace that text in place with valid HTML. You can use any arbitrary text filter program or script in place of the ones included.

i think making HTML simpler IS compassionate, tho i think Human would sound better.

Please note: I'm repeating this review because I could not type tags and have them display, thus I will represent less than and greater than signs with brackets

As a Mac OSX "service" this program is a script available to you in any text editor. The most simple, yet best, feature it has in to surround paragraphs with the [p] tag for you.

Put if you want more control you can type:

p.#description

and end up with...

[p id="description"]

You can type:
"The Website":http://www.thewebsite.com

and end up with....

[a href="http://www.thewebsite.com"]The Website[/a]

Very very handy.
