Since Sky sold out to the dark side the Macintosh experience has decreased and I no longer recommend this ISP to friends and family!
Oh, and Total Access sucks the OS down to a crawl…

The "accelerator" bogged down my tiBook to nearly crawling speeds, and it rendered almost unrecognizable images on webpages. I don't see how this "speeding up" of download times could help any since you can't even make out the images, you might as well just turn off loading any images at all...
When I tried to uninstall, my previous dialup settings were gone, and I had to reconfigure everything. No biggie, but it was just a hassle.
I give Earthlink Service two *HUGE* thumbs up for their service, but two thumbs down for this software...

The TotalAccess software, however, is not something I need or want. It is great for the technically challenged (the sort that would use AOL are perfect for this application) and it offers valuable speed increases for dialup users, but it simply interfers with my high speed web habits... it "dumbs down" too much for me but would be great for my Mom.
Mail.app provides all the spam blocking I need and I can do without the extra resource load imposed by TotalAccess

HELP ME> I hate earthlink! I've had no luck with their tech support YET. So far they've just tried to blame me for not properly uninstalling it. Yeah - whatever.... since I got the step by step instructions off their website!
