LightWayText supports importing and exporting Rich Text Format files (RTF) and Unicode files (UTF8,16), and also possesses many Customization and Macro functions that will stimulate the creative minds of professionals. I use it always instead of Textedit, except when viewing some Readme (rtfd) files, which it doesn't support.
And for those who have pc's too you can get a free pc version that enables flawless file interchange.
